On 26 / 9 last, the group fresenius Kabi (Germany) has officially opened the factory producing the drug infusion and injection in the city of Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh Province.
The factory covers an area over 15,000 m2, is operated by the Corporation fresenius Bidiphar Kabi - a joint venture between and Bidiphar fresenius Kabi, a pharmaceutical company owned by the State in Quy Nhon. The product is certified to GMP (good manufacturing practice) by the World Health Organization regulations.
It takes two years to build, fresenius Kabi expected total investment cost for the plant approximately 20 million Euro (about 340 billion). Will have nearly 380 employees at the plant.

Kabi fresenius group is considered the market leader in infusion therapy and clinical nutrition. Mr. Jan Walter, CEO of Indochina fresenius Kabi said that more than three years, sales of the group in Vietnam has grown more than 20% annually.
Fresenius Kabi has several programs to support Vietnamese-German University (VGU) in HCM City since 2008, towards the establishment and management fresenius Life Sciences Institute, a training institute and improve education for other health professionals in Vietnam. Fresenius has pledged $ 1 million for this project in five years time.
