In his sworn statement, the new Chairman Levinson said, "Apple has always pursue their self-renewal and I am proud to be part of that process." According to analysts, Levinson will be confronted with a series of difficulties, especially in the development of Apple after the departure of Steve Jobs.

Born in 1950 in the city of Seattles, Levinson has proved to be passionate about science since childhood. He received his Bachelor of Molecular Biology at the University of Washington in 1972 and later a Ph.D. in Biology Princeton University five years later.

In 1980, he became a member of the "family" Genentech, biotechnology corporations, as a research scientist. Thanks to the available talent with the passion in their work, Levinson has quickly from lower levels to rise above, hold more responsibility in Genentech.

In 2000, Levinson is convinced Steve Jobs to return to work and leadership of Apple. And in 2005 he was appointed co-director of the (lead-director, a variant of the president of the Board) of Apple.

teve Jobs once commented on Arthur Levinson is a talented leader, a great reputation, one of the leading technology companies the most important and successful "in our time." Jobs were very proud to be invited to help Levinson on the development of Apple.

But CEO Tim Cook said that, Levinson has made important contributions to Apple since he joined the board in 2000. He is one of the oldest members of the board of directors. "Vision with his leadership role is extremely important to Apple, employees and shareholders."

Levinson along with putting up as Board Chairman, Apple executives also added to the Board a new member group from Sydney animation studio, Robert CEO Bob Iger.

Robert Bob Iger is Apple's longtime friend from the Manufacturer Disney bought Pixar animated movies for $ 7.4 billion in January 2006 and Steve Jobs officially joined the Board of the Disney company.

Analyst with Miller when it states: "In theory, Iger has launched a strategy similar to the other competitors, but in fact Iger went ahead a move, especially in reaching agreement with Pixar. "

This partnership with Pixar have brought a solution to the dilemma that companies in the field of entertainment are facing in the digital era: It is whether the production company (film maker) or the distribution companies (carriers and equipment suppliers) will hold a dominant position in the market?

Major acquisition has helped Disney Pixar have been benefited from both sides. But Iger wanted to go further, he wanted the character animation as well as Disney and Pixar's programs appear on the screen of all the electronic equipment being used.

He said: "More high-tech equipment increasingly used in many human activities, so what we need to do is actively applying high technology to satisfy increasingly the needs of its customers. "

Speaking of Robert Bob Iger, CEO Tim Cook said that with leadership experience Disney, one of the enterprises are interested in developing ideas, new technology, Iger is actually a perfect complement Apple for the development of post-Steve Jobs era.
